About Jay
For me, every photograph represents the confluence of reality, light, technique, and personal vision. No matter what the assignment, all of these elements come together each time the shutter is “clicked.” Whether it be a glimmer of light at night, the harshness of the noonday sun, or its creation with photographic equipment, my excitement never fades. With each assignment, I look for great images which transcend time. I have heard many times throughout my career that one must “specialize” in order to become successful in photography. Why, when the industry is so diverse and rich in subject matter to enjoy and experience.
I am a graduate of the University of Colorado and studied photography at Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs. I have been recognized in many photographic disciplines both nationally and internationally during my career. Assignments have covered residential and commercial architecture, interior design, land development, advertising, public relations and events, corporate communications and annual reports, portraiture, nature and landscapes, sports, dance, and fine art. Not a boring career so far.
I sincerely hope that you have enjoyed touring this body of work. It is my plan to update many of the images quarterly. I invite you to visit “clickjaysimon.com” again in the future. Of course I would love to utilize my experience, talents, and vision for you down the road. My assignment rates are reasonable. Many thanks to all of you who have put your faith and trust in my abilities.
Photographic prints are available upon request. Please call for pricing. Should you wish to see more images of any particular subject matter, please let me know.
